Hi! I'm Mackenzie Danson. I began my career as a hairstylist in Ashland, Oregon. After 16 years enjoying a fabulous community, my family and I made the move here! I have now been located in Geneva, Illinois for 4 years! With my recent change, I have loved continuing my passion for creating great hair along with my talented team at Lush Salon and Suites. Just as well, my family and I continue to discover new experiences around the Chicago-land area!

 

I enjoy the artistry of hairstyling; not only am I good at it, I absolutely love it. I became a hairstylist because I wanted to have a career that would be fun and allow me the freedom to be creative. When I am not in the salon, I am spending time with my family, playing tennis, or maybe even golfing. I'm always up for an activity outdoors.

 

My specialties as a hairstylist are well-rounded. I am certified in Great Lengths hair extensions, which are top-of-the-line keratin bonds. I am certified in Cezanne, a non-toxic smoothing treatment. I am great with cutting (men's cuts too) and mentored under Leon Danielle, in Ashland, Oregon. I take hair color seriously by staying informed and interested in learning more about the three color lines I use: Wella, Keune-So Pure, and O-way (organic). I enjoy blonding, balayage, and reds. I am extremely accurate with color so you can expect great results every time.

 

During your time with me, you can enjoy a relaxing conversation about whatever suits your mood. Part of what we will discuss is you, and your hair goals. I am a great listener. My clients always leave the salon feeling refreshed and beautiful. I also provide them with all the information they need to manage and care for their new look.
